Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use this website, buy products, book a workshop or order custom work from Tica Studio. By placing an order you agree to them. These terms do not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

1. Orders and prices

• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
• An order is confirmed only once we have confirmed stock and you have paid, or arranged payment on collection.
• We try to keep prices and stock correct. If there is an error, we will contact you before we process the order.
• Paint swatches on screen are a guide only. Colours can look different on different screens.

2. Payment

We accept EFT and other methods we confirm with you. Orders are packed or collected once payment reflects in our account.

3. Collection and delivery

• You can collect your order from our studio in Ravenswood, Boksburg during trading hours.
• Courier delivery is available across South Africa. We confirm the fee before you pay.
• Risk passes to you when the order is collected or delivered.

4. Workshops

• Workshop prices include materials unless stated otherwise.
• Your seat is reserved once we confirm the date and receive payment.
• Please give at least 48 hours' notice to move your booking. We will try to find another date for you.
• If we must cancel a workshop, we will offer another date or a full refund.

5. Custom and personalised orders

• We confirm the design, wording and price with you before we start. Please check names, dates and spelling carefully.
• A deposit may be required for custom work.
• Personalised and made-to-order items cannot be returned unless they are defective or not as agreed.
• Handmade items may have small natural differences. This is part of their character.

6. Returns

Unused, unopened stock items may be returned within 7 days of collection or delivery in their original condition. Contact us first. Opened paint, finishes and personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty. You can also return goods that are defective, as provided by the Consumer Protection Act.

7. Website use

All photos, designs and text on this website belong to Tica Studio. Do not copy them without permission.

8. Liability

We are not liable for indirect loss from the use of our products or website, except where the law does not allow this limit.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
